Tahuanty Peña, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine - Pulmonary, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine
Biography
Research:

I am a Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist by training.  At our institution I am part of a collaborative effort to elicit the role of stem cells in the development of CLAD. I have great interest in clinical and translational research as evidenced by my long-term involvement with multicenter studies through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network (CFF-TDN). I am currently in a transitioning process to become the principal investigator for our center. Having my clinical background in CF and transplantation, the experience in clinical research and the expertise present at our institution provides me with the tools to achieve the work proposed.
