The best thing to do is to contact the ITS Help Desk and we will be in contact with you shortly thereafter.
Can I delete this page?
Yes, after you create a replacement and assign it as the front page within the basic site settings.
Alternatively, you could leave the infamous node/1 in place and just gut/modify all the content on the edit page.
